I have a druid in DaP that I use whenever I don't have time to sit down and play for a while. As such I guess I miss out on a lot of internal politics but I haven't really seen anything that's being thrown around in this thread.
Personally, I don't advertise ports. I do put my tag on when I want to go on the clock, which most people understand. I do have a few people who seek me out, I assume I'm on their friends list, and I will try to help them out. I always go with the assumption that people would tip what they could afford. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't have a steady cash flow to keep the tips on the lower side. That being said, the porter should not have an expectation of any compensation if they are 'porting for tips'. If you are expecting money, you should just put '50p' instead of 'tip'. I've run into a lot of lower level people who are still wearing cloth fillers, trying to give me 30p because they think that's the norm. Its unfortunate that people are having bad experiences with porters. I'm not sure there is anything that could really be done about that, just the way the guild is structured/operated. I do use DaP on my main, they don't know who I am and I seem to have decent experiences. I get my SoW and port. The really good ones will offer extra services like invis/lev depending on where I'm going. Addressing the original post. OP says he removed a porter for not knowing how to play. I guess my question would be, why didn't you try to help? I mean seems like it would be been fairly simple fix. Your actions and attitude shows that you have no real world experience in problem solving. If you actually have people working under you at work, assuming you work, I feel bad for them. Just because you have the ability to remove someone doesn't mean that it's your place to do so. I have never seen any blacklist towards anyone. I assume there might be some people who feel like they should have been paid more their service and no longer provide ports for people but that seems like it would be up to the porter. I have never been told not to port anyone. The part about making people wait is pretty stupid. The people who I see working all the time are buzzing around picking people up all the time, I doubt that they even look at guild tags or give a shit. Like I said before, I don't really have any vested interest in the guild beyond the fact that I port people a few times a week. If you don't like the service or person porting, find an alternative. OP is just some salty bitch.

I don't need to pull anyone out of the woodworks. The people that post here do so of their free will sir.
The only reason I keep it alive is because people like you that are toxic must be told about. And show that we as a server won't tolerate it. Thanks A

you are delusional.
not everyone is against me here. its DAP members and the little clique of 5 or so people and their alt accounts that post in RNF as their /b/ there are plenty of people here who despise you as the cocksucking snake you are. thats why DAP is being used less and less.
