My Tesla was a piece of shit. In cold weather you couldn’t get from Dallas

EVs are as good as the grid they’re based on. If we didn’t have opposition to nuclear energy, they would absolutely reduce hydrocarbon emissions

I also agree about nuke power, but we dont, and we dont because of people who like EV's ironically.

They shouldn’t be subsidized. Other than that, who cares? If people want a car that doesn’t work in cold or go more than 200 miles, be my guest. Like I said, it depends on the grid whether they are good. In a place like Iceland, where electricity is geothermal, there is no doubt they’d be better for the environment. In places where they burn coal, I believe there are studies indicating they are not as good for the environment as many believe

That said, I haven’t extensively researched them. I didn’t like my Tesla and I think until someone figures out a graphene battery, they will face real world challenges due to range and weather
