We "couldn't hack it on P99" like people love to say cause we just plain didn't want to resort to the tactics required to "compete" if you can call it that.
Eh, BDA as a guild was never that great at the actual EQ part either that I could see. For example, you failed like five Ring Wars in a row on the 2nd wave despite bringing 70+ players, whereas Rustle/Venerate/Anonymous won on our first try with 65. Gear/levels were probably pretty comparable too; Rustle is probably less than half ex Rampage at this point.

We never had 70+ players for any Ring War. Maybe if you count out of guild people who cant be counted on.

Most of those attempts were also before Ring War was even beaten by any guild.

BDA had 110 players at Velious launch and we couldn't pull 60 by the time we were doing ring wars.

I could bring of crew of 5 Emma Watsons and grouping would still make my eyes bleed.

I really don't get how people can sit at a camp for more than 2 hours playing a single character night after night. To each their own though.

Grouping to me was always to achieve some end. Complete a quest, a flag, a key. After it's done I'm done. But to do it to see your exp bar move 1 yellow is death.
O yea boi? Did you have the Emma Watson's playing right next to you in a LAN setup like my ***** Chest did?

Didn't think so bruh, try that and get back to me. O wait U aint Chest now what ya gon do boi.

Like others have said we didn't have 70+ on any ring war we ever attempted. Rustle/Venerate/Anonymous has the benefit of having ex-Rampage raid leaders and players running the show and knowing fully the mechanics and strategy involved on P99 ring war. As many people seem to agree ring war on p99 is quite different than it was on live as far as difficulty.

Not really a good comparison imo

I mean, what exactly are you trying to say here? That BDA can only win when the strategies are known 100% in advance and nothing more complicated than tank and spank is involved? That's kind of making my point for me.

As I said, I think BDA might have a rough time with some of the more complicated raid content in PoP and beyond, and if you do beat it then you might come back to Project 1999 improved at coordination (not that it would matter without racing/tracking, of course).

BDA won't be participating in 5 years of Velious.
