I'm curious if any of you BDAers who went over to Phinigel exp'd via soloing?

I personally loathe grouping, I find it to be boring and any single class only has to put in half a face roll to fill their groups need, this goes for any EQ server. Whereas soloing it's all reliant on you, and your own efforts are the only reason for your slow or fast leveling.

But from what I've read, and in my very minimal experience, the solo exp seems horrid over there and immediately turned me off. Like 1-2 blue kills for 1% at level 5 bad. I know they wanted to allow grouping to be a viable means of leveling but it seems like they completely gutted the ability to solo for exp as an option.

Is this the case at later levels too, or does it just suck in the earlier levels?

Oh but i did. My main change was approved July 10th. Here is my loot since then not counting FFA mobs or roll off loot like HOT/Kael/WTOV armor. The barb mask was a forum bid when the rogue was still my alt. Vulak dagger isnt on yet because i got it last night. I can re-synch my magelo tonight to make it all pretty and gold for you too.

Soloing pretty much sucks. as fast as group xp is tho i cant imagine wanting to solo for xp.

You gotta group to progress quickly, which worked well for all the BDA that came over together. Solo XP is just slow. The key is volume, so HS Chardok and Velks are all stellar xp.

Ah well, I was hoping to get in on some PoP/GoD/Level 70 expansion raiding but grouping just makes my eyes bleed.

I could bring of crew of 5 Emma Watsons and grouping would still make my eyes bleed.

I really don't get how people can sit at a camp for more than 2 hours playing a single character night after night. To each their own though.

Grouping to me was always to achieve some end. Complete a quest, a flag, a key. After it's done I'm done. But to do it to see your exp bar move 1 yellow is death.

you can always box. pay for the accounts with krono if you dont want to spend cash. just need 1 pc per account is all. soloing with the right out of group help isnt too bad.

I'm honestly baffled that P99 staff hasn't done something to change how raiding works at this point. How bad does it have to get before something changes? The server could be sooooo much better and sooooo much healthier for everyone involved with some relatively minor tweaks but nobody capable of making those changes is interested in fixing it. Even the vast majority of A/A think the raid scene sucks but they make the most of it cause they got the pixel sickness and will put up with anything just to get their fix. It's really sad honestly.

It's sad, but I think we should all be happy that Rogean just continues to run this server at all when he obviously burned out totally years ago.
