Ive been told Mexicans are the Italians of south america and are afraid of gay things.

Do you lock your door or close it? Windows? To your home? How about your car?
Do you put your wallet in your pocket, safely kept away instead of out in the open constantly?

There’s ways for thieves to get around all of these things yet we do them anyway and for good reason. It’s all effective first lines of defense before we firm up the 2nd and 3rd lines. There’s no point in looking at the other lines of defense until you’ve fixed up the obvious stuff.

Walls have been used throughout history and across the world very effective. Israel’s current wall is very effective. We should follow that model.

I understand your fear, but the wall is a waste of money.

It wont deterrence anyone. All it does its wasting taxayer money and make smugglers richer.

IMO you would be far better off if you put that money into education, because on this way you would have less future generations who take drugs. And if there are less peopel who take drugs the cartels in south america make less money = less cartels = less people who flee from them.

Nice side effect with better education:
- less teen pregnency
- less (school) shootings
- less left- and right- wing fanatics

Education is for sure not the cure for all problems, but its definitely one of the main ingredients for a better future in the long run.

Putting money in education is useless when foreigners walk right over our borders to steal our resources. Spending on anything is less effective.

That's why the wall isn't a cost but a money saver at the longer term.

I guess you don't utilize doors and locks to your home, car or protect your wallet either.

^ That's not an argument. It's an emotional appeal with a lack of logic. We only have so many resources in the US and a lot of needy people. If we start taking care of foreigners from other nations, it takes away from our own people that we have a responsibility for.

I don't think it's quite that black and white. We have the ability to do more than one thing. We're equally able to provide for needy citizens (which we don't because Republicans view social safety nets as a nonstarter) and refugees (which we don't because Republicans are afraid of the mythical "other").

Instead we cut taxes to enrich the disgustingly wealthy while cutting social programs and education.

Bring on the ridculous arguments about how illegal immigrants are positive tax payers.

As they don't have health insurance, auto insurance, they don't pay all taxes, they jam 20 people in 4 person house, their children use our schools, they undercut minimum wage laws.

Great guests of our country that forced their way in....
