You are correct. And you can make certain that if the name of the server is indeed Red99, it will follow the same strict guidelines as p1999 which includes race and class penalties on top of an already brutal exp rate.

edit: can anyone confirm or deny if a players exp penalty affects an entire group still? Or was that ever changed? I believe as it stands right now it is multiplied to the entire group.

By Race:
Troll -20%
Iksar -20%
Ogre -15%
Barbarian -5%
Halfling +5%

By Class:
Paladin / Shadowknight / Ranger / Bard -40%
Monk -20%
Wizard / Magician / Enchanter / Necromancer -10%
Rogue +9%
Warrior +10%
Not to derail this whole thread, but it's been explained many times how the penalty works on p99. It's NOT multipled to the group.

Experience gained is divided into parts based on the amount of experience you have. Look at it this way:

Group of 4 all with 100,000xp (note: I didnt tell you their level)
Kill a mob worth: 1000xp
They all get 250xp.

The uneven split comes in, because people group with people around their level, a bard at level 20 has 50% more xp than a warrior at 20 (ignoring race to keep the math simple).
Warrior XP: 100,000 = level 20
Bard XP: 150,000 = level 20

When the 1000 xp is split between them, the bard gets more, because his share is calculated based on 150,000 xp.

Make sense?

How many people on average are logged into that server?

Oh ya...your accomplishments mean nothing.

Grats on being better than 20 active players?
When I played there were about 70 people online on average, but you still missed the point:

You don't get it. There was no awesome pvp accomplishment on my end because it takes no skill whatsoever to "win" a pvp server. The proof is in the pudding. A bluebie outclassed everyone, what do you say to that? Either you have to admit that bluebies are better than you, or that pvp requires no skill. Which is it?
Neither. As Prince would say, ur dum.

The leaderboard didn't even track unguilded kills for the first few days. Good thing for you, as Big Fake Knuckle, Protector of Blackburrow had a new guildtag each day.

As for 'skill,' of course it didn't take any skill to slay people w/ a necro in the first week of a server. Have you ever tried PvPing on a melee? I would gladly take a dump on you.

You guys want classic pvp ...minus the classic.

If/when red99 comes out, many of the vocal hardcore pvp types will last all of a few weeks at most.

Classic xp is gonna weed more of you out than you realize.
Especially the guys that strive for max lvl pvp, like it gets better at 50 vs 30 or 20.
Its essentially the gdamn same, you guys have been playing horrible facsimiles for too long.

Eq pvp was best when there was some risk/reward.
All these gimp pvp boxes that have come and gone have no risk/reward at all(ie K&B).

In short, they have ruined you to eq pvp, and that sucks cause the people that want it the most, will enjoy red99 the least.

Hell, we dont even know if Red99 will ever come to fruition and alot of you are already bitching.

Ridiculous

You killed me once, good game bro.

I remember how hard you raged because you had me perma mezzed and didn't know I /q'd to escape pvp.

I remember how hard you raged because you told me to "come after you" and I ran to the NK bridge where you then said "omg salty found me hax."

You don't know shit, and haven't taken apart in anything big.

IF and I do mean IF red99 ever comes out, you'll know first hand how much dicks you suck to try and hang with the big dogs.

You're dumb as fuck because a stable server makes it to where people are going to want to invest their time in the server.

PvP pals don't put up with the bullshit xp rates and 1box on servers that have ABSOLUTELY no stability.

With p99 source, the xp rate and boxing won't be a massive issue.

There has NEVER been a stable pvp Emu server available. The closest we had was Gronkus box (2.0) and that is an INSANELY FAR stretch to call that piece of shit stable.
