Not a fan generally. Although one thing I try to do is not change my tone or mannerisms to “talking to little kid voice” like a lot of teachers and clinicians do. Like I’ll dumb my words down but I’m not going to speak in an overly-excited fake voice because I think on some level kids recognize you are being fake around them

It is true though that there is a subset of the right that has transferred a lifetime of rejection by women into a hatred of women. They are vocal about how women just need to stop being sluts, etc But on the flip side of the coin, there is a subset of the left that has also transferred a lifetime of rejection from men (the men they desire anyway) into a hatred of men: the crazy cat lady feminist type. They can be just as hateful but tend to not be as violent. These types would have no problems with discrimination against men in custody hearings, divorce courts, or penal sentencing (men getting harsher sentences than women for the same crime) So in summary, both sides of the political isle have ugliness to them. Which side has more or which is more ugly will probably depend on your perspective

It is interesting, it looks like around 800,000ish abortions occur every year in the US
Could you imagine if all were magically undone? Then you came to the person, now grown up, and presented proof that they only exist because the abortion of them was magically undone What percent of them would end up pro-life after hearing this, I wonder? I’m guessing it wouldn’t be nearly all but probably most of them. That would be a huge army of pro-life people Then again, that would be a lot more people in general. Overpopulation problems would be compounded Edit: nah it’s too hard a hypothetical. Because you couldn’t just assume they would grow up to be a reasonable well adjusted person, or that they would grow up at all, especially if their parent didn’t want them

sure, a lot of people might get a crack at a job that pays more than the general wage of the place they grew up in pays for whatever labor but it makes you wonder if you'd do the thing that gives the privilege to choose to do the thing
