Sure, you're right...but there are car guys out there that would disagree.

Like me.

I’d go Honda then Toyota but agreed
Camry means Crown iirc.

Toyoda is the name of the founding family,
But that might mean health or abundance.

Ester seems to like them [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Toyota, Subaru: Perfectly good companies that don't actually build anything I'd ever want to buy. Too bad. I wish they would. I'm sure they'd do a good job of it.

I briefly owned a 2006 Subaru STI in rally blue. 300hp 300tq. I have owned a 2013 Honda Si for longer and enjoy it more.

I did feel more confident in the Sti doing 110mph in the rain.

Edit: Allegedly 110mph, these are internet stories.

06-07 'Falcon Eyes' model.

I did feel more confident in the Sti doing 110mph in the rain.. and hit that puddle. If you think that was a dumb thing to do, fair enough. The guy in the mustang wanted to go, he let up at 90.
Thats how I feel about my Benz.

I could be going down the road at 120 and take a hand off the wheel for a sip of coffee...while hearing zero road noise over my smooth jazz.

(not that I do this, but I could)

I'm a city boy but before the city, to get experience a a cook, I did hotels in the countryside and I remember going in gaspesie ( it's bordering the ocean but picture buttfuck nowhere) and I made friend with the barman and he was fond of cars. He had four. I remember he laughed at the mini but he drove it and like it. It handles like a gokart, a lot of fun to drive but then he shown me his baby.

A modified, turbo charged subaru with something like 700HP.

You know, the kind of guy driving 260KM/H (161MP/H) in tight roads cornering the ocean, at night, while it is raining.*

I felt like welp, life was nice I'm going to die now.
Some people enjoy speed.
I don't.

Well, yeah but not that fast on shitty Quebec roads. ( Quebec has the worst roads in Canada and Canada already have shitty roads )

Anyway, my point is Toyota make unkillable cars but who tf want to drive them.

Other things probably make you feel alive.

Note: My recent postings in this thread, I would rather buy American but unless I have the funds to easily purchase a Dodge Demon for street use, or some other higher end American sports car (do not like the new Corvette) then I do have to look elsewhere.

The new Dodge Dart is a Honda Civic. I am only partially joking but if you get what I mean..

This is a real Dodge Dart.

Nice ride, just--not my style. I sort of sigh because I get tired of fixing stuff that shouldn't need fixing like window switches that break or trim that doesn't want to stay put.

Lexus LFA was a terrible sports car???
It was the fucking king. Best engine EVER in a road car. Not to mention the 1JZ, 2JZ line. That sounds so terrible... making 1000 horse power on a stock block. What a terrible thing. What car guy says thats bad?? Name them.

Cars are so varied from sport to sport, there is no such thing as a "car guy" because a drag racer has a TOTALLY different idea of what is a good car to a fan of rock bouncing.

There are dickheads and non-dickheads. Dickheads are the ones who see and opinion, shit on it, then say "whatever i say is better".

Cept the whole toyota won Le Mans. TRC, Super Formula, F3, NHRA, USAC, Super GT, NASCAR, WRC, and WEC. Thats today. They compete in all those, today.

Dont see why you need to shit on em. They are doing the lords work by keeping motor sport alive. They could say fuck you, not compete, and have many less cars on the grid in 9 different race series.

People who are not poor tend to do this thing where they buy a car to drive every day, which will work every day. Then they buy a race care, which wont. Because racecar.

If you dont know what a 2jz or 1jz is or their capability, you're not a "car guy". lol
Power is power. Ethanol, C-series, V-series, 93 octane, nitromethane, methanol, alcohol, doesnt matter.
