The democratic party already out numbers the republican party by 40 million. The problem is gerrymandering. You cannot win if your districts are shaped and divided up into unwinnable shapes and populations. They make these stupid rules which benefit themselves, then strip power from the position if you manage to win before you take office.
Thats where we live. They can just declare an emergency session, kill the bill, and thats that. Status quo protected.

Horza you aren't very well versed in history. Politicians looking directly at the camera is a very old thing. It's psychological for the viewer to feel like they're being talked to directly. I'm not making this shit up.

That and doing the hitler, waving the hands, stamping, slapping, Mussolini muggin n shit. They know what works they spent billions of dollars to learn how to fuck with us.

I understand completely. Any coincidence a TV star and movie star have been elected to presidency based FULLY on their camera performances?

Maciste was the first dude politicians copied. Since silent movies were pretty new, seeing someone on a screen was a big fucking deal. They had to figure out how to use that time best because they couldnt just get on TV 3 nights a week. People had to physically distribute these reels of film and show them to the population. So first they use the maciste shit, like mussolini and hitler. Once fascism became not cool the tone was downed and it was more like a news caster type, im talking to you and your living room, type behavior. A set of mannerisms were developed for politicians to follow while on camera to be effective.

Could you fucking IMAGINE if they had cameras at the parties you went to growing up?? All those people throwing up, shitting themselves, pissing themselves, making fools of themselves. Breaking my coffee table with their fatass, etc. If all that was recorded and put online... jesus christ. These poor kids. I couldnt imagine going to school. Every second of every day could be recorded and that one embarrassing thing you did will be pasted all over FB. Rumors are one thing but a video is another.
Kids today will never know the freedom of getting SHITTY at a party, falling out in the main room, and not one pic of it exists the next morning.

Problems need to be fixed and we should look at them and fix them. We can express opinions without getting them too muddled up in to what side owns what opinion. Its a discussion for us to have together and we can move away from brain death together. I find myself a lot less afraid of what the left thinks and does now that I just don't send me kids to public school. Its a huge privilege I have that most people do not have, and it's hard on my wife who does most of the work raising them while I make sure we pay bills. The biggest struggle we have is how to balance out the work / life ratio for each of us because the prevailing system really doesn't cater to anyone trying to actually have a successful family from my experience. Good talk pals, just about time to go home for me.
