I dropped an EE bag and a Light Burlap Sack with 2 TBB's in it once in Innothule. Positive I know who picked them up, but a gm told me tough luck when I petitioned. This was a couple years ago.
That being said, I've drop transferred lots of stuff, a few times upwards of 20K, and never lost anything else.
Underwater is a good place, and do use see invis first

You need to find a more discreet place if you're going to drop items on the ground, even if it is out of the way a bit. Bad luck and probably not much that can be done.

This is why you should wait for a GM to confirm before accusing someone publicly. Because the only actual fact you had was that your item was missing, not that anybody took it.

I posted what happened, if he did not take them then its a bad coincidence, being in the wrong place at the wrong time and wearing those same gloves.

Cained has half a dozen people sending me tells, threatening me, saying they are going to ruin my rep in the game etc.. so be it I guess.. I just stated all the facts that happened and stated I would update the thread with whatever the gm/guides tells me what happened to the gloves.

It would have to be a non-lore set of gloves wouldn't it? Otherwise, I'd say he couldn't possibly have looted them, but yes this seems like a huge coincidence.
