Yeah, that part i can't comment on really. It just feels like a slippery slope and they are there to catch the failed guilds, because the other guilds can't compete on their own and pixels motivate more than 'we'll get it ourselves!'

The difference and why some of us are giving Azrael a lot of flak is because they were adamant for months/years about how detrimental the behavior of Nihilum was, only to duplicate many of the same things they were so vocally opposed to the second they were given the opportunity. This is large part includes recruiting the top players from up and coming guilds effectively destroying them from the top down over time.

They've already showed they're going to do this, and while I don't blame them for it (constant fuel is needed to keep a machine running), I certainly can blame them for saying they wouldn't do it.

110% agree.

A top tier guild needs recruits and members to constantly bolster their ranks so that they remain on top. It is a standard MMO tactic, but this is a low pop server and it drains the player base.

My issue with Azrael is not the fact that they do this, but the fact that they have spent the past 14 months I have played on this server bitching and moaning about Nihilum doing this and being a 'Zerg' only to do the exact same shit themselves.

There is RMT, there is mass recruiting (via proxy guilds such as Hokuten and Eternal Light, which is clever since Lite does not hold accountability for gearing them up) and there is a whole lot of griefing as seen in the GM event.

I hate hypocrisy, I don't care about being the underdog and in reality its nothing new as my necro got no pixel package and was wearing cloth into 60.
