You've watched too much rush hour if you don't realize special training is not required to unclip a gun holster. Depending on the source, the numbers show between 8 and 10 percent of all police fatalities are caused by someone killing them with their own weapon since 1990.

Yeah I've heard that, but doesn't make any sense. There was an APB, the cop is in the area and on the network, so hard to know for sure early on in this matter. Even if he didn't know, he was still there. And Brown knew, so you have a guy that thinks the cop already knows and is ready to take a chance at taking out the cop. So if he did know or diden't, it doesn't really change anything. But then if the cop did know, he would not have let Brown get close to him to try anything as he did. It would still be enough that if he attacked the cop that would endanger his life. And since he already attacked someone to rob them, I see it likely he was willing to do it again, and did.
