My mistake in that paragraph was speaking for other azrael members. I should have only spoken for myself. I do think most of the people who rejoined Azrael had similar opinions and experiences though. I for one, was asked to join Red Dawn and at the same time, Knife was guildremoved while I was offline. Barladore was never even in RD, he always had an azrael tag. So no, I did not leave nor did I ask to join. As far as me using RD, the one peice of loot I got, I bought with DKP.. I, along with many Azrael members had a fair amount left over. Had anyone asked me my intentions I would have been quite clear.
Besides, do these new server developments not please you Cyren? I took you for a smaller crew type of guy, one similar to myself. Are we really arguing over whether or not azrael "left the RD the right way?" I'm sorry, but the crew of azrael members that left for RD were always going to be loyal to lite after all the work he put in to that guild and for its members (dont believe everything you read on these rediculous forums). Titanuk, If you really think the azrael crew that joined RD was anything other than a mutually benefitial relationship then you are out to lunch. | ||

It's okay Barladore you're a good guy and I consider you a pal, I consider Lite a fun guy to play video games with too. But all this anti red dawn rhetoric and anti Heartbrand shit is just dumb.. I'm not sure if you were playing during the time of Vae Victis Barla but the ousting of Heartbrand was total B.S. and should not have happened. It made the guild weaker and split it up into dumb factions that made people less immersed and also replaced it with a lot of shitty people at the top that wound up spamming people's phones irl or just in general had a self serving attitude and weren't helpful. Perhaps the whole thing was about being power hungry.. It also made Nihilum a lot stronger--just one of many terrible calls.
People can be mad about us and our 'truce' with nihilum in fear, Andis can spam retard crap in ooc about how obtained 'scrap' pixels are tainted, but the truth is this is all a really smart decision by Heartbrand. To hold some petty grudge or "omg I'm so red" mindset over bettering the guild is dumb, and this comes from someone who probably has a bigger grudge against said top guild from having been here since server start. Seriously though, the I'm so red mindset is really dumb--you guys got trakanon etc recently uncontested just like we've gotten most of our dragon kills on snipes because old nizzar was playing a 14 year old card game at the time and nilly #s were low. You guys may have all your PVP skills highly tuned, you might be an 'elite' crew that works together well but in the end that probably doesn't matter at all--when Lite started playing here late into the classic era he seemed to me to be fairly new to EQ, and I sort of doubt he knows a lot about Velious. Again, I like Lite, think he's a cool+fun guy, but I also don't see him being open to criticism on the leadership in Azrael and this is all pretty bad. The mega anti nihilum mindset is really fucking the guild over in the long run and sadly I don't see this resurgence of the guild lasting very long. tl;dr pras topjew, fuck all this anti RD shittalk.

Coming from the person who tried the hardest to mooch off each Nihilum member that left(stasis, and twainz both gave you more then you deserved ie string clickys for badger numba #1 cleric box anyone?) epic MQs etc, allowed azrael to go from 1 epic to 3 epic bards 4 including Twainz(who gave you so much that you now call 'scum' to make yourself feel better cause he rejoined nihilum?). Then when Checkraise left Nihilum you were so anxious to get dem epic MQs from him no matter what the cost, you knew the longer you waited he would hold out or not see the game your way(by the making of new red dawn he obviously didn't). Even let Checkraise roll on a NoS thinking it would befriend him and get him on the nihi loot train MQ you thought he was gonna shower more characters you can login.
