Sure am, do you not realize that with the 6 days to early access that tmo or any other high end guild can essential buy there way into velious and farm ToV/Kael/Skyshrine gear and at launch already be raid ready? lolz ok.......
Oh no. You mean casual guilds aren't going to be in ToV the first week?

Staff said Raid mobs will be disabled for the early access.

Day one when those raid mobs are up is going to be insane now that people can get their faction ready to rock in advance.

This seems more like a small church surprising and confusing many of its members by defying its years-old policy against raffles when it starts selling raffle tickets for breast cancer awareness when the prizes are pew seats that normally are reserved for long-time dedicated members of the congregation, a trip to a high-profile plastic surgeon, and a motherfucking Ferrari.

After all:

1. people aren't reaming the staff, they are just baffled by

2. the staff doing this after they've always had a policy against mingling real money with ingame benefits, regardless of whether platlord or rogean or whatever restaurant that sells bloomin onions is involved, and

3. guises and fungus staves are not the p99 equivalent of pink t-shirts and soap-laden goodie baskets.

Go on all you want though. I'm not mad. Surprised, confused, disappointed, yes. Mad? No. I even logged in this morning and made 15k in 10 minutes in HS south! So pretty much business as usual.
You're right, maybe i didn't think my post through. Perhaps I undervalued the rewards. I was thinking more about people complaining about xp pots = pay 2 win.

I can understand why you feel the way you do. What they are doing is unprecedented after all, but I think is still pretty far from donation benefits on THF (http://www.thehiddenforest.org/viewt...hp?f=14&t=1993). There should absolutely be 0 ways to turn any rewards into platinum, and I think that has been addressed by making all rewards no drop.

I can't say I agree with offering early access to the expansion. I really would hate to see velious items auctioned 6 days before release.

I see what you are saying. My mistake on thinking the absence of raid mobs won't make this possible. They will still be able to get gems and faction.

logic fails as there is no "win" in EQ.

I'm surprised so many people are focused on the XP pots.

I've been looking forward to those opening days in Velious for quite some time. Now I can't even be there for the actual opening day unless I pay $500. I can pay $100 and still miss the first 4 days velious will be active.

Is nobody else truly disappointed that something they've been looking forward to for YEARS(the first days of Velious release) will be denied to them unless they donate $500+?

Give early access to the beta, that's fine, but taking away all of our 'first days of Velious' unless we pay real money? That just seems so wrong to me and I can't believe people are caring about some worthless XP pots.

First day. Tenth day. No difference. Whatsoever.

Kind of agree with Skipdog here. That said, I'll probably be donating to get early velious access.
