Back on topic and in response to the critic of my last post, it's clearly not a threat, just a friendly reminder. I've seen a lot of Bob in KC and CoM, and for the most part my experience has been positive. I don't think they're filled with scumbags, they just seem to be led by someone who doesn't have his members' best interest in mind.

I don't think this sniping strategy is going to work well for them, especially since they seem to have problems with the encounters. Their leadership's attitude has kept them from enjoying Sky, and in the upcoming months it will likely keep them from enjoying other raid content. I doubt their full membership is aware of this.

hopefully Velious is out by then and shit will just sort itself out, and yeah i know epic mobs will always be a bottleneck for people who haven't been playing for years here who are in all these well established guilds

but it does kinda blow me away that people don't understand, understand not agree that for some people when we think of everquest racing for mobs is what we remember not a rotation and certainly not a rotation with the unique situation this server is in being so top heavy..etc

so from my obviously bias perspective and honestly my ignorance of this server's history to me were the good guys in all of this dumb drama. in my brief raiding experience so far ive gone to sky where we were the only people in zone did isle 1&2 np get to 3 and suddenly an entire other guild is sitting on the island with us. they get FTE on the island boss kill it np and my immediate reaction is just " gg gf " not to get mad because honestly i was just happy to be in the fucking zone again, same with faydedar had a fucking blast wiping to it not knowing its a belly caster and knowing next time might be different and that actually motivates me to log in and xp

what almost makes me go well fuck it is the level of hatred ive seen towards people who happen to not agree with another's idea of how they wanna play the game within the rules

It sounds to me like your guild leadership is completely clueless in terms of the raiding landscape here, and never once bothered to educate themselves.

I actually feel bad for you, and your guildmates. You're in for a world of hurt if you're looking to experience what classic was like, because P99 is not it.

There is more experience and tenure here. Timelines are vastly increased between content expansions. There is a much higher average population here than there were on any average server in classic, and no guild's aren't structured by timezones.

Had your leadership known any of this, you would have learned very quickly that your guild is in no position to compete... yet. Going balls-to-the-wall against the grain is going to earn you a lot of enemies. Had you continued on this path and the ban not have happened, your guild would not have lasted very long at all out of sheer frustration.

Take some time to learn about the history here, and understand why this situation is unfolding. Encourage your leadership to do the same.
