I can attest it is 100% not always 30 seconds. In fact, I've only ever seen one person in game longer than 15 seconds. Most people pop out in under 12 seconds from my personal experience. Probably encountered about 30 LDs being a bard.

What happened to people taking pride in raising their own character from the ground up? Hand me downs count as charity so I'm a big fan of that... but why have someone else play your toon for you? Considering this exact issue is the GLARING risk with the practice.

And, after all of this, it could have come down to saying "No, I won't give you my account info." Problem solved.
