A facebook group called "Freedom to Breathe" are making these fake mask exemptions cards as a way to get around wearing a mask. If you come across these cards, they have absolutely are not official government cards nor do they have any authority with any government agency.

Also is it legal or illegal to make fake goverment documents in the USA?

Not to the public, no, but that can pretty easily be enforced in businesses by making it a requirement for them in the same way bars past a certain hour don't allow people under a certain age to enter. Or the business can just say, "we won't allow anyone without a mask in or make sales to any person not wearing a mask" and that's that.

A person deliberately trying to skirt around or ignore the requirement or request of that business should expect to be thrown out or denied entry.

Another win for Republicans it looks like. Minimizing federal government interference with and empowering states rights, keeping big government out of how people run their business, and letting capitalism and competition thrive.
