Some of you cry so much it is hilarious.
TMO isn't just going to stop contesting raid mobs that members still need items off of just because someone decided to start socking the spawn days early. Obviously FTE-offs while everyone is waiting on the spawn is not the way we want to play, but when 1 guild waits on a spawn it is unavoidable. I am sure our actions will provide plenty more for you haters to rage about in the future. Look forward to it.

There should be legitimate outrage against TMO for attempting shit like this, and don't even think it can be reasonably argued that this thread was just the work of the same TMO haters that have always been around. You should know that new ones are being created everyday not only in those that experience this shit but in those like me who read about it.
TMO was not, as they would have you believe, competing against a rival guild under legitimate circumstances, but instead was trying to sneak around a much less powerful guild that had been camping a mob for 80 hours using what many would consider a loophole in the server ruleset. TMO should consider itself lucky that they did not get FTE here, and as crazy as it sounds I wish they fucking did get it, because this sort of shit should not be excused just because it was not successful. The mere attempt to do something like this should be regarded as an affront to the community. Signed - Svenn (someone who has no dog in the fight and is at this point a mere onlooker). P.S. Before you try and spin the facts otherwise and if you really want to know the rationale behind my argument, read below: 1) the facts of the specific situation were that TMO knew FC was camping inny for 80 hours in order to get the next inny kill and TMO decided to try to get first to engage in order to get the loot from inny itself. a) "first to engage" is a dubious rule which has led to many many confrontations because it is not known who got FTE until after the fight is over and involves GM intervention every time to get the loot transferred to the right person. b) Therefore, TMO knew when it decided it would try to get inny via FTE that they were stepping on the toes FC who had been there many hours prior. TMO also knew that their attempt to get FTE, while within the rules of the server, was a douche bag move guaranteed to anger members of FC. 2) In general TMO has gotten a significant amount of the raid targets for the past 6-12 months of the server. On the other hand I can safely say that Full Circle has gotten much less than 1% of the raid targets in their entire existence. No disrepect to Full Circle, but they have proven to not be actual competition for TMO because they have minimal ability to mobilize, very little knowledge when raid mobs are due to pop, a much smaller member base, and a much more casual guild recruitment and value system. | ||

You bitches sound worse then the babies over on EQMac. Either compete, or don't. You are playing "classic" Everquest. Step up, find a new game, whatever you gotta do just stop with the whining already. Pathetic.
