I just spoke to Ephi and he entered our guildchat after. His response is this - it wasnt a 'normal' encounter so the 'training to zone in' rules did not apply. Apparently, FTE still did even though it was not a normal encounter and those are normal encounter rules. So we have a rule-set that allows for FTE with training....wonderful. Enjoy the stuff.

Remember, you cannot do what you just did on a normal encounter.

Show me logs of that because I don't believe you. The only standing raid rule is the VS clause. After that FTE is the rule. I think Ephi is operating under an incorrect assumption that the rules Ambrotos enacted about Hate/Fear are still operational, and if that were the case go ahead and ban Arconis for kiting fear last night or Fauss the hundreds of times he's done the same.

Derp you get VS in the same situation during a normal encounter and you cheer. You have the same situation at Inny during a "non" normal encounter and bitch.

The two situations aren't even comparable! It's not even the same ballpark, they aren't even the same fucking sport.

VS - people socking his room, he spawns, clusterfuck happens

Inny - solo pull to zone in (at most two adds already in camp being CCed) for a waiting raid force

Just try to walk me through your side of the story.

What are we even talking about? I'm talking about Inny. Clean pull and we easily had enough at zone in to kill him.

VS was a total shitstorm that I was admittedly late to, I'd just prefer the FD shenanigans to cease. It's getting old (admittedly it was already old, now it's borderline ridiculous)
Clean he says... I haven't seen the logs but you pulled him (past tmo? idk wasnt up top) down to the zone where he proceeded to annihilate the bda there. One of our tanks zugsmash picked him up, tanked until DT, fatty got him tanked until dead from no heals (about 10 seconds), then chowda tanked until he died. Our group of 3 warriors, wiz, 2 clerics got exp with 1 warrior dead. The issue is that you basically trained a raid mob, wiped, and when the people you trained finished the job for you, you took the loot from it based on FTE when you utterly failed to kill it.

You tried the same on VS but failed over a longer time and it was considered raid stalling, only difference.

Tanthallas, stop being an asshole, you're not in TMO, remember ?

On VS, everybody was chain killed and nobody wanted to actually kill him because nobody knew who had FTE and didnt want to kill it for the other guild.. You just decided to kill it knowing you might not get the loot, period. And yes, the ruling is surprising to say the least.. Sirken told me once that FTE was not the most fair rule but it was the only thing they could actually check.. That said, grats, i prefer the loot going to you than to TMO bought alt 247.

On inny, lol ? Chest and Fatty pulled inny with some ghasts and liches that were handled, that's your "train" ..? And yeah we got FTE on inny but you decided to KS the kill and ninja loot.. great idea for a kill that's supposed to be fun times during halloween. I wish i knew who actually looted that inny after sirken told us it was ours..

Oh btw, i definitely saw a train in hate from Chief, but you all will have to believe me <3

I have no side of the story. Stop derping. I was responding to Tanth's reasoning not to his facts.

I will ignore the retard above as usual.

Chest - FTE is not the end all be all rule. You cannot, for example, get FTE and train a mob onto another raid wherein they either have to die or fight. That is the situation we are dealing with here. The only reason it is a non-issue is because the GM's are considering this to not be a 'normal' encounter due to their claim that Inny was going to aggro the zone in regardless of who pulled it, so it would have been a train on the zone in anyway.

It should be obvious that having a situation where FTE holds for a particular guild while claiming that the mob was always headed to the zone in where ALL THE RAID FORCES OF DIFFERENT GUILDS WERE is completely contradictory.
