Really? Take a poll of the raid guilds on the server -- I think you might be surprised. Other guilds... feel free to chime in here. And by other guilds, I mean the ones besides the guilds being shadow-led by TMO members (Taken, did you get Jeremy booted out?) because they Take the Game Way Too Seriously (tm).

There is plenty of documented evidence on classic EQ where servers had civil raid rotations/calenders, etc. You're selectively choosing to only recognize the servers where that level of "play nice/cooperation" did not exist. So stop sitting here and trying to tell everyone there was "competition" at this level on every server back in classic EQ, you and I both know it's not true.



More self-righteous assertions that the way TMO chooses to play is the way everyone else on the server should be forced to play. You have no more right to dictate that everyone should earn pixels the way you decide than I have to say that the server would be more fun for everyone else if this horseshit didn't occur. The only difference between you and I is that your guild is in a position to deny the rest of the server an opportunity at any sort of distribution of raid targets other than "you have to earn them the way we dictate to you that you need to earn them." Yet, somehow that makes me a dick.



Like I expect you to say "Yes, we bought tons of characters so we can camp out at multiple targets to help us 'mobilize' faster."

Because the M.O. of TMO is not to encourage and cultivate a competitive spirit among guilds... it is to play dirty, spin doctor and rules lawyer everything, insert spies into guild forums, and post RL private pics in public until the other guilds get fed up with it and wash their hands of the entire raid scene until there is no other competition. There is a whole history of this in RNF for those of us who have been keeping score. And when they get called out on it, the response is "no... YOU'RE THE DICK!" LOL... laughable at best.

There are two categories of people who read this drivel in RNF anyway: TMO and people who have had this shit done to them by TMO. The latter I don't have to convince... they know it's true. The former, I'm never going to out-spin the spin-doctoring experts, nor am I going to convince the good people in TMO to stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

This is just another attempt by TMO spin doctors to justify to their sheep that the rest of the server does not despise them by beating their chests and pointing their fingers outward instead of inward.
