Lady Nevederia killed me. She just wore me down I guess. I got her to around 20% and it took about 6 minuets - then she just started outputing more dps I guess and my defenses didn't hold.

I can see one flaw with this build my weapon lifetaps were resisted so that's a hit to my healing power, so another class bonus there would have been help.

Im still on the fence about swapping back to SHM. I wonder if I swap right now and go up against her ...

SKs have a tough wing of the journey in late Velious > Luclin. There's just enough functionally magic immune and near magic immune raid bosses to tear your hair out; Emp being a notorious one, Seru as well. Even guys like Vyemm in a NToV clear are a pain in the ass if your other classes can't carry hard. Fortunately it gets better for SKs in PoP and beyond because pumping MR on bosses mostly came to an end with Luclin. You could do a heroic charisma build, but it feels really bad in era and mostly requires PoP drops before you start to see it in spades.

Made it through VP squaring off face to face against the dragons with my level 50 war / sk / rog ... Im liking this combo, I am glad Nlaar convinced me to go all melee.

i have been having a good time on a no-pets white damage war/rog/cleric. i have not used the backstab skill on any character since like 1999, it's a lot of fun.

only level 30 but so far the cleric is the least necessary piece. considering paladin or sk instead, if there's not too much overlap with aa on the warrior.

for a white damage build think about pal/sk with rng or rog and ber

i have zero experience with the berserker class, i should definitely try it. some of these 2h weapons are absolutely nutters.

Try stacking/maxing these two boring general aa's first:

the 0/18 agility avoidance
the 0/18 mitigation

I'll check my aas when i log back in but I dont know if me stacking those has made my guy indestructible, or if its cus he is a war.

I was thinking about trying rog/war/cleric too! Im curious to hear how it goes.

I think you might have a raid force in a character there!

My death was to a Magic Immune mob - so I was not able to life-steal which is my main heals. Still got it down to 30% tho.. doing some more aa's and going to go back tonight to see if that fixed me [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

at 30 I was able to grind AA's in MM to great success - btw! also again at 45 in seb I was grinding aa's 1 shotting things with the rog.

tried it, got to level 50 and got bored, then overwhelmed at the hundreds of AAs and then got demoralized at AA caps. mag/nec/bst was fun tho. bought some cheap primal weapons and cloaks of flames for pet gear and it was just obliterating everything

i sat in the hole AFK as enc / mage / cleric with an autoclicker on a macro to summon pets / cooldowns for 2 weeks straight, only to relog when servers went down

pretty nice they dont care about unattended AA farm since you're in your own instance who cares
