It’s dumb and doesn’t belong in the 21st century. I’ve believed in God since I was old enough to think but honestly, imposing those beliefs theoufh the force of government is a terrible idea

I'm not speaking for god. I don't even take any of the holy books of any faith literally, I can get just as much moral guidance from a comic book or a documentary. I just know bullshit when I see it, and I see it frequently. They don't even abide by their own stated beliefs. I consider myself a deist or something if I had to put a sticker on it. I believe in the existence of god, or some kind of higher power I guess, but I believe that god gave us brains so we'd use them. Or brains evolved so that we'd use them. I agree that the government should be absolutely secular.
