Congrats on your body awareness and transition to some healthier lifestyle choices. We’re a niche hobby and though there is a lot of bickering in game and forums it would be a shame to lose any of our hobbyists.

Yea, that's what 2 of my friends are going through atm, one is confirmed covid positive.

The other gets his tests back after the weekend.

were you vax'd at all? 1 2 or 3?

I was 2x, last shot in May 2021. Lingering lack of taste/smell but that usually happens with colds

All of this just feels so tenuous, because when you think about it you're taking so much on faith as a layman.

The original covid variant was "super contagious", then delta was "even MORE contagious!" and now omicron is "even MORE MORE contagious!". And they issue specific figures, like "yup, omicron is officially 17.72% more contagious than delta."

Like how the hell do they know that so quickly? Who is performing this research, who are the subjects, how big are the sample sizes, what is the actual procedure and content of the testing, what is being tested for, etc..??

Omi has gotta be more contagious I mean everyone I know has it it's insane.

Lets just hope it is true as well that it is not as dangerous for their sake.
