Just did 3 weeks in Thailand through Chinese Taipei, came back today.

There has never been a better time to travel. The Chinese flag-waving tour-groups are nowhere to be seen. The loud busloads of Chinese leaving the hotels at 7AM don't exist. There are apparently cheap deals on certain flights as well. It is hurting economies badly, but good if you are a tourist.

Guy just pop'd symptoms 27 days after exposure. Haaaaard pass.

That would be horrible. The most dominant athlete of all time, Yokozuna Hakuho has been holding out for Tokyo 2020 to perform in the opening ceremony before retiring.

Yeah "disruption to everyday life may be severe".

We're going to see a massive run on groceries soon. Those pictures from Italy are coming here except we're not leaving ketchup on the shelf no way every red blooded American knows that's a meal right there.

7.8 billion people on the earth, that's 180 million dead if it infects every single person. I can't cite the source but I was watching one of those WHO guys on TV and he said if containment fails we're looking at a 40-70% penetration rate, so that number becomes 70 and 125 million. Now we can all rest easier.

I joke about the latest "were all going to die" channel 2 news plague all the time, even this one but I've never heard the head CDC guy say "it's going to be bad"
