Oh no they did, the fact these goofy rules were even made should speak volumes

He was charged with holding up all kinds of subjective BS to try in his best way to make this a stable community, whatever he was doing, I am sure was in the interest of the raid scene even if it was biased

Pull him and the stupid rules from the raid scene
You keep bringing up the raid scene like that was the only thing he did. You may want to do some googling, there is plenty of proof out there showing other things.

its is unrealistic to fill a position that doesn't pay, gives power, demands neutrality and requires a lot of time dealing with players

when it comes to summoning items and other such powers, one person should not have them, it should be split up in steps (step 1 = request evaluation, step 2 = deeper evaluation & suggestion of refund, step 3 = refund), a different person should handle each step, and each step is a requirement for the next

this seems even more unrealistic though

You got to ignore Nirgon. He is part of the community that stinks up the place.

Just consider that when he posts he is probably off his meds.

Here's one of the dudes who gets banned for hacks/rmt right here

(hacks aka shit a retard can download)

Sirken's gone but the large warp is still here

Exactly to Haynar's point

All of you fail to grasp the amount of subjective BS he had to succeed at doing, please everyone and still be burned like this

Yknow, occasionally I get an urge to come back and see if it would be fun playing again...things like this thread help me to decide.

to be fair, most of the people posting to this thread are from the tiny minority of players who do their damndest day in and day out to stink the joint up

At this point Everquest is not fun 99% of the time. It's an addiction or possibly a way to numb the mind. There are moments though.

Idk Kayso, most of current and former staff volunteered/volunteers because it’s something we enjoy and signed up for. None of us expect any sort of recognition, infact it’s a pretty thankless position. It’s pretty obvious when you see new guides come and go after they realize the large amount of work required and the new car smell wears off. This is more of a message for those recently interested in becoming a Guide. Don’t expect to get anything out of it and you really need to have a desire to help the players and the project, and we can definitely use the help right now.

Sirken was a great GM and he apparently made a bad decision. I guess nobody is perfect. In the meantime, the rest of us are still here trying to keep the ship afloat. Put an app in if this post hasn’t scared you away
