I would like to thank Brut. I was a very lowly Shadow Knight hunting with a combination of Cracked Staff, Tarnished 2 hand axe(Sharpened myself) And a Tarnished Bastard sword. He approached me and asked what I was using for weaponry. I bragged about my 3 weapons and he gave me A silvery 2 handed axe. He also explained I was an ugly Ogre. I thanked him and offered him some bone chips and spiderling silk stacks. He told me he had Gnome slaves to Gather those things. And that they also make a great snack.

I'd like to thank Shortstop, Daliant, Shadooh, Yoite, Heallin, Comapavik and Shivis (and a bunch of guildmates!) for helping me with Lucan. You guys are all awesome.

I've had too many people help me over the past 10 months to list in full, but you all know who you are.

eee! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] (at all the posts give flavor to the general zeitgeist)

hey GM's. not to bother you guys AT ALL- considering what you are doing (and what I may be joining if I can get the 5 steps right once titanium comes in- I stare at all my old disks)- why I wouldn't even THINK of griefing, begging or whatever unless I have tried all other options fist- not even complain about game dynamics, I mean Come on!, free, right? geez...

but.....

Rumor was at one time (in the live old days) that GM's and guides secretly "soul stamped" people. this was something not seen to anyone but the uber secret GM type peoples with green names.
It was also said that such "soul stamps" were precious things.

Would anyone know of these things? did they really exist? (oh- from Firiona Vie originally, never moved. just FYI)

You could make notes against a character name on the guide interface, and call up the notes history from all gms / guides to see if you were dealing with a douche in advance.

Generally I only remember the notes being about warnings and behaviour issues, rarely saw a good note and had to issue a number of them myself.

They may of been another level that only GM's saw, couldn't comment on that.

K.

Praise and warn were both types of soulmarks. Praise was mostly used as more of a neutral note to keep track of name changes and other things like that.

I remember giving praise to the players who would help translate French to English for me on Karana when i first started. Imagine putting a Guide on a server that spoke French when they didn't even know how to say 'Je ne parle francais.'
