You keep saying this, but who doesn't double check their target bar before they engage a mob? It's not like it's some strenuous time consuming process. Especially if you see people "hanging" around the exact spot the mob is. Nobody's believing that.

This whole ordeal happened over 20 seconds, and 7 seconds of that is a gap between tash landing and mez starting to cast. I play an enchanter and I don't see why you'd wait 7 seconds to start casting mez after tash, if you wanted to pull it towards you Allure has a 6 second cast time.

I'd have to talk to my wife again to account for every second of that scene playing out. I was over with the turtle. She told me that she went to her spot where she can LOS Grizlin at max tash range, and he popped during her Bedlam cast. Knowing her, she then mouseclicked him and then mouseclicked her spell gem, and didn't look at the fucking target bar for more than a fraction of a second. You can't expect her to KNOW she doesn't have FTE from that vantage. It was only after they started crowing about it that she realized they must have tagged him as soon as he popped. As I've repeatedly stated - this was a completely unexpected turn of events. We didn't think we NEEDED FTE. We were waiting for that mob to spawn - our instinct was that we had a legitimate claim on it as long as we got to it quickly.

Douche move on my part? Okay, I'll admit to how you and others can view it that way but don't get your feelings so hurt because it was still a smart one. The correct move for you would have been to drop Griz or not charm him at all. Adapt and get the lodi kill. I didn't expect when we decided to make this play that you would actually charm ks him anyway therefore having to petition wasn't what I wanted to do and wasn't part of our strategy.

I was not however going to allow you to steal Griz from us to use him anyway. We don't have to tell you the truth about what we planned to do with Griz and obviously you realized what was happening anyway. In fact telling you totally negates the point of it being a strategy to get lodi. She admits openly to the GM it wasn't possible for her to tag Griz as we were on him the moment he respawned.

If I had waited and you got the kill and petitioned, what do you think would happen? Temp ban is possible but we had a player perma banned for a similar situation.
