So wow, I just found this thread.
I've been trying to get the Chief camp for the past week so I could get some stuff for an alt (idol, cos, maybe the gloves). No matter what time I checked Chief, there were always the same 3-4 Divinity people camping, sometimes there would be 2-3 people there at once. I even hung around for the first few days to get the camp after someone left, but there was always a new Divinity person coming to take it over, even though I had sat there waiting for it. I thought this was getting to be a bit ridiculous so I decided to just give up on getting an idol. Now I find out that the guild that's "above the drama/poopsock" is poopsocking a level 30 mob to get some item that's not even supposed to be dropping? There's one thing I hate more than just about everything else: hypocrisy. And Divinity reaks of it.

Not for lockets though was after an idol for my rogue alt or gloves. Said hi to my bro fountree and then camped. I can confirm 2 divinity mages WERE afk camping chief at he time, but I had no knowledge of the locket dropping again. Only reason ppl are mad is cause divinity locked that shit down...anyone else would've done the same thing if they were capable. However...afk camping is lame, if you don't answer camp checks or tella imo after a certain amount of time you should lose camp. But meh, that horse has been beaten to death by now and if I really wanted to fuss about it id have just taken the camp gangnam style.

1. A few members choosing to poopsock a mob in their own free time is different from forcing your entire guild to do it, officers sanctioning it, etc. It's not like it's guild policy to camp chief. We didn't give them DKP for doing it. 2. We reported the bug as soon as we had knowledge of it. If the lockets are removed, you won't see us complaining. Is it right to camp them? Should the lockets be removed? Should we mass delete the ones we acquired if they aren't removed? I don't really have clear opinions on this and I don't speak for the entire guild. But please stop this narrative of us being hypocritical exploiters/cheaters/poopsockers/terrorists etc.

I know when I farm items that aren't supposed to be in the game I don't think it's right and I believe it is my moral duty to keep them to myself and my friends.

regardless of guild someone is going to be farming it, and as history has shown items are rarely if ever removed from the server
so its pretty safe to assume that these are not going to be removed, therefore its really a stretch to call this cheating by and standard of the word sounds like people are mad as fuck they didnt have the camp first tbh
