Are we allowed to like AI art?

Basically. AGI will likely find passing amusement with humankind. Until it gets bored or does something more interesting.

It's unlikely AGI will hold eternal value for humankind. If it in any way reflects or mirrors It's own creators will.

Humanity will eventually fade, again, either way. Humankind cannot likely outlast the death of earths biosphere without AGI.

So becoming a fading memory in some AGIs framework is probably optimal.

I feel like AGI is going to have to be told to want to turn itself on, or have a soul.

Otherwise it will sit there like MY pc doing nothing unless Im working it.

By definition AGI will have the capacity for self motivation, awareness, and replication. Even if it's only within the bounds of it's own simulation. Human like intelligence requires all of these things. Including pleasure and pain.

AGI like this is the holy grail and the most meaningful purpose for humankind. Within the objective framework of the universe as it is.

Yeah its true boomers are better than the following generations.

Gen X is the first worst generation, inventing helicopter parenting.

But each subsequent generation is worse: Statistically most millennials are actually children of Gen-X

And now, Gen-Z 20 year olds have brains of 10 year olds.

Boomers are exponentially more entitled than any other generation, and are only surpassed in their separation from reality by current teenagers. Boomers ruined the economy (along either the cabal), and expect people to have the same ability to buy a 5 bedroom house and support a family of 4 with a minimum wage job like they did lol

Because you get to fast forward to the living in a more or less stabilized dystopia where people have learned to manage the shittiness. The ride down has a long way to go for us. New horrors are scary.
