Pedantic Derrida angle?
Derrida angle perhaps so. To simplify, the entire concept of attempting to reduce anything "just being a social construct", therefore dismissable, was founded primarily by a man who, along with many other pioneers of postmodern critical theory, signed petitions for the decriminalization of pedophilia. Not exactly ideas to be elevated, but i digress it was an aboutturn use of your own psuedo-religious philosophy.

Sorry for the early reveal, i guess we're not quite ready for the lefts final foray into madness, with the attempt to generate widespread acceptance of consensual sex between children and adults.

Go fuck your own kids. You'll not fuck mine.

Innovation is certainly key. However, if you deregulate the industries that are damaging the environment, you counteract the innovative gains. I'm in favor of simultaneous innovation in new tech (and making current tech more efficient) while putting the brakes on destructive practices.

The solutions are there, they're just sitting on the shelves of oil companies while there's still some oil knocking about.

She'll never be President. They'd be crazy to run her as a candidate a second time.

I hope they do run her a second time.

It'll make leftists wake up and see that the establishment doesn't give a fuck about them.

Also the meltdown would be entertaining as well.

You'd think the first time would have made them realize that

There's no fucking way. Im voting against her in the primaries and I think we'll have good turn out in 2019 with both parties.

I think big tech is losing power with the democratic establishment.

Big Tech Is in Big Trouble
is one of many articles recently predicting trust-busting and citing the nose-driving stocks of Facebook -- incidentally as their ace-in-the-hole Pelosi falls under scrutiny.

Big tech is really powerful. But the bottom line is -- they have pissed a lot of powerful people off with their little spy network that have already been using to hurt competition (very predictable).

The old money elites should know that guys like Zuckerberg and Bezos are a massive threat to them. These two guys have too much power concentrated in one person. They both have proven to have a bottomless hunger for power. They will not stop. They need to be stopped, or they will consolidate a god damn 1/4 of the economy each eventually and be untouchable.
The government could always step in and violate Mark Zuckerberg's freedoms and deeply held religious beliefs in a market regulated by Corruption, Corporation, and antitrust. +a little Orwellian thought policing. And lobbies with endlessly printed and inflated pockets.

Both scenarios have potentially very bad outcomes. As crippling Zuckerberg cripples a sector of our economy and our ability to engage in Global espionage and propaganda.

Looks like I put that in the trans thread by mistake.

You bring up an interesting point about the U.S. security apparatus needing Facebook as a intelligence tool.

But so what in the end. Facebook will still be around if there are some management and stock price changes. The military will basically always have access to Facebook for important shit as far as they are concerned.

Zuckerberg being out on his ass or greatly reduced in power, might ironically make Facebook more popular. Especially if they chilled on all the ridiculously invasive advertising.
