You are correct. And you can make certain that if the name of the server is indeed Red99, it will follow the same strict guidelines as p1999 which includes race and class penalties on top of an already brutal exp rate.

edit: can anyone confirm or deny if a players exp penalty affects an entire group still? Or was that ever changed? I believe as it stands right now it is multiplied to the entire group.

By Class:
Paladin / Shadowknight / Ranger / Bard -40%
Monk -20%
Wizard / Magician / Enchanter / Necromancer -10%

Exactly, one boxxing on the smaller red servers is pointless and forces everyone to roll necro or mage. When red99 releases if i want to play a Monk, Warrior, or even hybrid SK/Pally, it will be feasible.

Its entirely possible, you just won't fly through levels and have to kill easier enemies. Last box that lasted too short a time, vztz reloaded, I had a rogue to low 40s just from killing blues and from a small amount of grouping but was still pretty fun and easy. People will always play more necros and mages though because they are the best soloers in games and can solo small group content.

That last VZTZ box had a super boosted exp rate. Like twice the rate of Red69. Your rogue would have been level 9 on p99.

If you are dumb enough to run around with 6 toons, sure. But the majority of people make buff and port bitches. Personally I don't enjoy having to box another 2-3 toons just to be able to keep up with fighting people that are fully raid buffed, have pocket wizzies to spam nukes, pocket healers to spam heals etc, on top of which keeping up with the constant lack of grouping because everyone solos everything.

Or you do like most did on VZ/TZ and setup macros through...wiat for it....MACROQUEST!!!

Now your healbot-box can spam heal you without you having to do **ANYTHING**

These same arguments were made for the PVE server. :P

Don't start a server with boxing and it won't be missed. Placate to an individual's frailty, and it will never end.
