I think he is referring to the fact that chocolate is generally deemed "poisonous" for dogs consumption. Though I had a dog that ate several full bars and lived quite long. Her stomach may have been made of steel though.

Funny metaphor though. Giving people something toxic...

milk chocolate is relatively harmless to dogs and will most likely just make them sick, the darker the chocolate and the more coco in it will kill them especially bakers chocolate...
