That's not sand - it's all the dead skin cells accumulated from EQ gamers' computer chairs for the last 10 years.

was totally into it until they started showing the combat spells and effects with the area of effect-dont-stand-here red rings of handholding wow bullshit. I dont wanna know where he is attacking and where to stand. this is EQ. stop the baby shit. let those pillars of facerolling rock storms to wipe the group hundreds of times until we learn his spell graphics and their locations of impact

Yeah those red rings are in Marvel Heroes too and it is stupid. Also looks like it plays like a mix of Diablo 3 and WoW in terms of combat.
I would beta test it and go from there. But it does not look too promising. | ||

I am hoping its just a target ring and not a Damage radius ring. It seemed like the damage extended far out beyond the red ring. I at least hope so because I also hate that hand holding.

I like it. It doesn't really look like an EQ game, but I like it.

So different, hard to even compare.
Agree tho, hope its hard. Don't need to telegraph every move the mob does. Let the players learn to adapt, no need to make it easy with rings. Still don't know about how crafting and everything will work in the game itself. Don't know about the pvps or anything.
