Before this thread gets deleted, can someone please tell me how it is even possible to get someone's IP address from them simply viewing a wikipedia page? Inquiring minds wish to know!

I am on there now and all I can find is the people who contributed/edited IP. I can get page view stats and other crap, but I can't find the raw data they are presenting >.< Shit is going to bother me since that would be a very nifty trick to have. Where are you viewing connection info?

click the history tab on the page check the IP that is logged with the associated changes.

Why would you assume that a log of those editing the entry was somehow a log of every IP that read it?

WTF are you talking about. look at the view history tab, it shows the changes and the IP of the person that saved them.

That only shows contributors, not viewers. You have to edit the page while not signed in to have it displayed or am I missing something?
