Before this thread gets deleted, can someone please tell me how it is even possible to get someone's IP address from them simply viewing a wikipedia page? Inquiring minds wish to know!

I am on there now and all I can find is the people who contributed/edited IP. I can get page view stats and other crap, but I can't find the raw data they are presenting >.< Shit is going to bother me since that would be a very nifty trick to have. Where are you viewing connection info?

Why would you assume that a log of those editing the entry was somehow a log of every IP that read it?
