This guy is asking that the entire forum change its established rules and standards so that he doesn't have to check a couple boxes in his control panel to read this forum while hes at work.

not sure if you realized, but several posts ago he said that he did, indeed, turn off the avatars, and as far as the rest of what he said, do you realize that there is a section of the forum called "Rants, Flames, and NSFW"?, it is highly appropriate to assume that if a website has a NSFW section, then content that is NSFW would be going there

the whole reason NSFW exists is because if employers see certain images even from afar it can cause major problems, the OP has every right to question why NSFW content isnt going in the NSFW section

It's pretty clear that the entire forum is a little lax on images and language, but none of this would be NSFW in any of the places I've worked at in the last 15 years.

I mean, there's some language and a bit of skin.

But whos defining NSFW, then? Just this guys boss? Seriously, if you're visiting a site that your boss thinks is NSFW, then don't go when you're working. Thats 8 to 10 hours a day.

Pictures of cute kitties are available and totally SFW.

And no, I couldn't handle reading the entire thread, so didn't know he'd turned them off, though I did read him saying he didn't want to, that it wasn't a solution for him.
