Exactly, she might be a dumb cunt but it appeared to me the judge acted like he were god?

Anyways, law is different in every state in the US right?

I'm pretty sure judges aren't allowed to disregard procedure because of personal emotions regardless of location.

This is ffirst appearence not her trial. The judge rhas the option to ROR her on her charges or set a bail. The bail id almost completely up to the judge with some restrictions. There are monetary ranges depending on the infraction.
He set her bail at 5k for the possesion charges which id on the low end off the alotted range. When she gave him the finger he was well within his duties to max her bail at 10k5k and slap her with contempt off court. Welcome to american judicial system.
