Hey there, haven't played EQ since 2006 and saw your server and thought about coming back. Not really sure what to make though. Population seems a little low and makes me think I need to roll a solo class to be able to ever catch up to you guys. I was thinking SK at first but I'm guessing thats not a realistic choice. Necro, druid, shaman would probably be my best bet? Any help would be appreciated. Also, I couldn't find to much info but this is pretty much as classic as it gets right? No double exp or things like that?

you are correct, it's impossible to enjoy a melee on this server unless you dine on pizzarolls and hotpockets 24/7 and have a posse to group/raid with. On most other pvp servers where you can two box you can actually level up a melee without PL.

Rexx is doing just fine on his warrior.

If you have slightly more fortitude than a fire beetle you can make it as a melee. Just don't expect the WoW journey where you get max level in 2 weeks. Roll a caster type to farm gear and level alongside your melee when you cant find a group for him. rexx has a crew of people helping him level on his warrior. i wouldnt really compare that to a brand new player that doesn't know anyone.

Buffed chunder and an entire group of lowbies in Crushbone yesterday.

Disciple Brennard was there as well, dropping buffs with me.

Very happy to see population doing so well and as always, please hit up Saint Saidin in game for buffs or druid help. If I'm not busy i'm always happy to help the noobs of the server.
