Sort of looks and sounds like Daggerfall in spots, but seems to lack that charm Daggerfall has.

personally i think ultima online was far superior to meridian 59 in just about every way.

as far as MUDs go, this one was based on the original GODWARS code, which was probably the best/most popular pvp based MUD code for ... well, ever.

its based on the world of darkness setting vampires, and as such isnt for everyone - but the pvp is amazing, pulse pounding, and required to advance. this particular MUD has been running since the 90's, and is (for the most part) the only active MUD still running off the godwars codebase.

Oh, here's another good pvp based mud by the creator of godwars, kavir - godwars2.org

i still spend some time playing MUDs on my smartphone using Blowtorch. I find they have alot more substance than some of the graphical games available on a smart phone.
