I wandered around, didn't really understand what was happening, until I got in a battle and got killed by some monsters. I can't believe Verant ripped them off so bad!!

Was a fairly fast-paced mmo on the ps2 that had a lot of pretty cool stuff including raids. You didn't need any sort of hacked router, just an ethernet cable and a usb keyboard to plug into your ps2 would let you jump right into the game. The underfoot expansion was supposedly going to be the second expansion for it, but it ended up going to the PC version of Everquest and the community gradually died out after to a point where they shut it down in March.

after further investigation i found out that it's actually just a cheap unlicensed pirate game that has nothing to do with the actual Everquest games. Basically, it's a generic RPG with random Everquest stuff stapled on.

There actually was another ps2 everquest game called everquest heros of norrath or something similar, it was a gauntlet legendsish style game, isometric hack and slash with various EQ classes you could play as like SK, wiz, etc.

Was pretty lame, but my ex fucking loved it. I stopped liking it right around the time my SK got a pet and started sucking =P

just like real everquest. *snicker*
