PvP does go back and forth for a while, but no, it isn't a WoW battleground with endless respawning ADHD PvP. If you get some friends together and kill people enough, generally they will leave. You might even have a chance to BC or CC someone if you are lucky. Last weekend was was a great ~ 12v12 in WC. On Thursday we had a fairly disorganized ~ 18v20. Friday was a fun 4v4 in DL for about 45 mins. And I don't even play that much. Low population has pushed everyone into one of two guilds 50+, and there is plenty of PvP within that dynamic. Because there are very few stray players, if you are looking at PvP as picking off random guys as they XP in BW or LGuk, you will probably be disappointed. As well, if you miss the old school EC/BB/CB 10-16 PvP scene of RZ, you can probably find something similar 25-35 in Unrest. | |||

And you are heavily restricted from doing it because of the huge penalty over dying. So by default, you are forced to do alot more PVE than pvp, thats just how the server is set up. Eve online has somewhat a heavy penalty for dying, but there is ALOT you can do compared to EQ. Not only that, once you get a bit into the game, you can do limitless pvp if you please by buying cheap frigates, Cruisers, or stealth bombers. Again my point is that the only endgame we get in EQ is fighting over content. The way server is set up prevents us from doing that except in a like 1/10 PVP/PVE ratio | |||

If the penalty for dying was reduced much, Nihilum would have had to actually earn the raid gear they could farm for months unchallenged in Fear, through pvp.
The way its set up, all they had to do is come up with zerg numbers, this assured that nobody even wanted to try cockblocking them. You end up with pvp that is like Founding fathers waiting for stragglers at entrance Once <Full Retard> breaks Nihilum, then what? They become the next "zerg" nobody wants to challenge Im not saying it should be totally removed, but drastically reduced since im sure item loot wont be implemented With that heavy a penalty, its just a game of "Who can recruit the most people the fastest as they reach our lvl bracket" It discourages people on the server from forming smaller guilds, and encourages large 2 party guilds that tip over once the numbers start shifting one way or the other. | ||
