There are no issues at all, you can sneak all the way down on rogue hide/sneak

Great, thanks for the help guys again. It's much appreciated. I got down there last night but had IVU and Sneak/Hide on. Unfortunately when i CC'd no one said ass/sup and then when I got there they called it haha. A necro was camping it for his rogue so I'll have to try it another time.

The Ghoul Lord can also see through hide/sneak. At least it did on live

Don't forget about the sneak portion of hide/sneak ... it's not just to allow you to move while hidden.

IVU is unnecessary... Any invis effect (including hide) will make you invisible to undead AND live mobs (with the uncommon and fairly well-documented exceptions). Does that work also with IVU spells? I'm not sure...

I can also say that I made it to the assassin with my 17 rogue, no problems.

Hide obviously is not like regular invis, pretty sure you can get there A OK. I've never had any problems on my rogue with anything seeing through hide / sneak in Lower Guk.
