What i do not understand as a outsider looking in at this election why your country is satisfied electing a president for 2 years of work and 2 years of campaigning. Where do we get this notion that the president should be average by any metric? He should be exceptional in nearly every standard.

People generally prefer a doctor who went to Duke versus a 3rd tier college. People generally recognize that an experienced attorney with a top 14 education tends to be more skillful on average than someone who grated from a tier 3 school.

We should consider it an asset on every level when a presidential candidate possess the means to enrich himself through his own efforts.
