My searches are showing that quote is only on the article, it's nowhere in the EVE posts or any kind of news relating to VR's death.

Funny story, my Grandfather watches his show religiously. I was over at their house for a family get together recently, and he called me upstairs, and told me he had something urgent that i needed to watch. It turned out it was Glenn Beck's segment on the EVE spy lol. So i had to sit through 45 minutes of it, and then bite my tongue after.
