if the wiz is 20+, I agree.
Druid is where it's at 1-20.

How would a necro power level efficiently?
dot a mob and fd and have wiz hit it?
mana battery the wizard?

I'm sure its a different way but just curious

What you'd want is a druid to buff you up with thorns/hp/ds/regen, then have the druid snare pull 20-30 mobs at a time. As a wizard at lvl 10 your best bet will be Befallen for a few levels, then maybe Unrest at lvl 13+. Use a point blank AE DD to dmg the druids pulls while they use DS to dmg them as well. Snare keeps aggro on the druid and saves the person being powerleveled from dying; if you have to cast the nuke multiple times to damage all the mobs you might get aggro..in that case one heal from the druid should pull aggro from you. I'd offer to PL you but I've got work the next few nights, sorry and good luck.

Just is a bit confusing.
Snare doesn't work indoors.
If you put DS on the druid the mobs will nearly never hit him if your trying to tell the wizard not to get agro.
Wouldn't a enchanter be much better at this with rune (cast while being hit), clarity 2 (aoes cost a lot of mana), and tashani and the like are great fast agro.

HoT wiz, let wiz poke mob/5pt DD, Dot mob
FD
??????
profit

Edit->mana battery works nice, necro heal works even better if the wiz has a manstone

In my opinion with the right gear druid is your best bet for PL'ing any class 1-60 (cept monk prolly shaman would be better at high levels for them.) At lvl 60 with full ES/manastone I can PL any class 1-60, its just that some classes are easier then others. For instance as a wizard you're going to want to utilize your AE spells as often as possible while PL'ing, even 40+ there are many tricks you can use as a druid PL'ing a wizard. Imagine killing 50+ mobs at one time at lvl 40 using low hp aggro on the druid while the wizard pwns em down with pbae spells, getting multiple levels per pull like a bard can do.
