Pretty sure necros are the more efficient soloist in terms of XP over time, while shamans have more brute force when it comes to soloing tough mobs.

anything a necro can actually fear kite a shaman can just torpor tank. many things a shaman can torpor tank a necro cannot fear ktie

Speaking of these two classes, are they an efficient duo setup? My friend and I are level 6 so far and it feels like it's taking ages to level.

I'd have to side in favor of the necro, reason being that sure in a perfect scenario where the sham gets one mob he can prob solo it better than a necro, however I don't know how shams can break a camp or solo pull from a room of mobs without feign death or circlet. Lastly no one likes to be the raids buffing whore.
