Ever since I started playing D3 I've been clicking the screen in Everquest trying to move around and holding down alt (my vent bind) looking to scoop up loot.

WASD is far better than arrow keys because you get to keep your right hand on your mouse at all times, and your left hand can control the character with WASD and has extra keys nearby to do extra stuff - like duck, con, autoattack, hail, and all your number keys too. It's also more comfortable I suppose, and it also leaves your hand in a better position for typing too.

I am left handed so WASD feels pretty good to me. But use the mouse righthanded. I can't scratch my butt with my right hand.

I'm a thumb turner, not a keyboard turner.

Theres plenty of stuff near arrows to bind...it takes the same effort to bind them...just a little extra finger stretching to get to...i prefer arrows to WASD because there is just to much shit to "oops" on with WASD and arrows feel more natural to just move your hand directly to for me...also Ive never ran out of keys to need to bind other than WoW just because there is just to damn many skills that you "might" need at times...

If my left pinky wasn't resting comfortably on the shift key I don't know what I would do, so ESDF is not for me. I think the last game I played with arrow keys was Return to Castle Wolfenstein... last millenium. I thought that movement layout died after Quake came out, but maybe people that played non-FPS games never made the switch.
