Obvious troll thread. Anyone who thinks there was any worthwhile pvp to be had in D2 is a drool-cup retard.

Diablo PvP: join a duel game and participate in a FFA quasi-arena where there are no penalty for deaths.
Diablo PKing/Griefing: click hostile on people and watch them all leave the game before you get to slay any of them. Net time of theirs greifed: the 10 seconds it takes them to leave game + create/join a new one.

throw barb was my fav pk cheap to make so not to biggie if they die (just gotta shop for some new spears for a bit) + people would be like lol a barb how is a barb gonna kill me at level 18 when im level 30 etc and they would stick around

Ya, about the only cool griefing in d2 was ganking the retards who stuck around in hardcore games (which were few and far between). Only shitty part was all pro hardcore players had 3rd parties to instantly leave games before death.

You could also insight just as much anger taking advantage of the "you-can-only-have-1-corpse-rule" in the duel games on softcore to take most of some idiot's gear, and then sell those things on d2jsp (which actually had a vibrant market, unlike hardcore).

Outside of these, though, Diablo griefing was nothing like EQ greifing.
