A new job + a lack of PvP / No global OOC / No meaningful Population / Only one big zerg guild raiding and only two capable of being in fear has me only playing on the weekends now and really considering quitting for good.

I think we all know that the largest chunk of population was lost when guards in towns did not defend players from the beginning of the server. The time it took to patch was a damned unacceptable joke.
There is very little point to playing this server without hardcoded teams. The majority of players don't want to have to join a guild run by some fucking asshole kid to have a chance to get groups and allies, to have a little meaning to our online time.

Here is my observation from the beginning....
A sum up of forums from the beginning of red99: (A typical blue forum post) "Hi all, welcome to the server. Enjoy your time in Norrath. PST to blah if you ever need help (A typical red forum post) "You bluebies suck, get off our server, go back to blue, blah blah blah) Now fast forward to present.... (A typical blue forum post) "Hi all, welcome to the server. Enjoy your time in Norrath. PST to blah if you ever need help (A typical red forum post) "Where is everyone at? What happened to our population, we need exp bonus, global chat, anything to get blubies to come back..... <Insert random troll response from Harrison> 20-30 replies of "This message is hidden because Harrison is on your ignore list." Conclusion: The Red Player base has gotten exactly what it wanted and what I warned it would have from the beginning... the same 100 assholes bitching back and forth at each other.... Anything that is done to revive the server at this point is going to be too little too late, sorry guys. I wanted to believe in a resurrection, but its not going to happen. For the future, I hope everyone learns that PvP needs to have a certain degree of "honor" in it. Also, be careful what you wish for, because you may get it. Enjoy the Red, I am going to to enjoy the community in blue! Ok bye bye now.....

hardcoded teams just isn't the same, you lose to much of the "fear" factor in knowing that anyone can attack you, for what ever reason they see fit. I feel is also waters down the open world pvp feeling. Grab's you by the hand and says "attack these guys because they are the enemy". I like to have the choice of deciding who is and is not my enemy.

The few LOUDEST voices trying to dictate to the MANY which was turned down by staff then followed by MASSIVE negative propoganda and QQing has made population growth stagnant.
However the population of red not being comparable to blue is because of Epics being released 2 weeks after red opened. I often now see 175-200 on peak hours..which is about 150 real players. Not bad for pre-kunark classic.
