Its certainly not something i would do, but even more certainly not something i think GMs should interfere with.

Dont wanna get bind camped while afk?

Then camp.

Unless your house was on fire and your laptop stayed logged in the basement for 2 days i dont see the need for GMs. And id ask to see pictures of your burned house, too.
Yes, it blows.

Next time, log out.

Intervention? How about your guild sitting one zone away, oblivious.

If someone is getting bind camped, you organize your guildies, and kick them the fuck out. At what point do you propose we "bring in the gm" to intervene?
10 kills? 20 kills? How can you really draw that line.

It's a grey area and I don't think anything should be done about it. It's a pvp server and the whine is flowing as always.
He was green to everyone but 1 person. We brought that one person and he owned him really bad because the guy was an awful player. That isn't the point though.

It's more like:

1. why would someone even do that
2. it was about 40+ deaths (excessive)
3. it's a game and people are here to have fun
4. sometimes people leave their char on, albeit stupid, but happens

I seem to recall the FF gang giving Avon a hard time in Freeport.

That said, always remember:

They would probably write I LOVE YOU on the ground with dropped stuff so you have a nice surprise when you get back to the computer chair.

I just think that when you have a limited population you would think people would want to encourage play, not discourage it.

Personally , i'd take my 2 or 3 kills and move on... but ive seen this before many , many times.

The eq pvp emu draws a " special " breed of gamer so theres no surprises anymore as to the levels of grief people will achieve. ( I've done worse )
