Again, this will only really affect the people in competition for the items. There won't be anything left to kill with those items, as Sleeper's really will be the end of the server. Thus, the items will just be e-peening for people who think it matters to e-peen on an emulator server. On the plus side, they can tell people they won at EQ, and that's something no one else has ever been able to do.

The rest of the content remains unchanged. Your experience really shouldn't be too affected by it. That's the beauty of this server, for me.

That's a fair enough reason to be concerned. My positive spin would be that, since it is essentially the end of the game, it is very possible that it will be changed to not despawn the event permanently.

Either way it's a year+ out, so plenty of fun to be had in the meantime.

I'm hoping spawning the sleeper does not remove primals from the game, I really want a primal spear on my Bard! That and epic are probably my two biggest goals for this server.

As for ST being the "end of Everquest", I would think the PoM quests would be end-game. From what I've seen on PoM, the quests in that zone are long, random time-sinks for the items you obtain.
